Welcome to Midnight Sun
Land-based gatherings exploring emergence and creativity through deep listening with place
Amidst the widespread emergencies of our times, our ears are turned toward the emergent possibilities of ceremony.
We feel ceremony reaching for new forms — many-limbed, radically collaborative, and rooted purposefully in disrupted soil.
“Remember the earth whose skin you are.”
— Joy Harjo, ‘Remember’
“The weekend I spent in the Sierra Foothills with Kelly, Annette and friends was truly profound.
I think we can perceive ritual as something untouchable, or needing specific channels to reach. This group created such a warm, authentic, and meaningful container that liminal space and spirit connection were a mere step away. I am blown away by how small things – touching rocks with reverence, speaking inquiries aloud to the sky, hearing our fellow travelers’ stories – were made hallowed by the power of intention.
All of us walked away from this with a deeper understanding of ourselves, each other, and the land we walk upon. What a special gift from these two wonderful women!”
